LLYC closed 2024 by consolidating its position in the <\/span>TOP 10 global PR advisors<\/b> in M&A transactions. The firm <\/span>ranks 7th globally<\/b> by the volume of transactions advised throughout the year. In total, LLYC participated in <\/span>148 transactions<\/b>, amounting to <\/span>$56.637 billion<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the <\/span>main transactions<\/b> in which the firm has participated are the <\/span>takeover bid by Adnoc for Covestro (\u20ac15.597 billion)<\/b>, the <\/span>takeover bid by BBVA for Sabadell (\u20ac11.342 billion)<\/b>, the <\/span>takeover bid by Helios for Lar Espa\u00f1a (\u20ac1.088 billion)<\/b>, the <\/span>delisting takeover bid by TDR Capital and I Squared Capital for Applus (\u20ac484 million)<\/b>, the <\/span>counter-bid by Esseco for Ercros (\u20ac459 million)<\/b>, and the <\/span>delisting takeover bid by Minor for Minor Hotels Europe & Americas (\u20ac115 million)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding <\/span>private transactions<\/b>, LLYC has advised <\/span>Ardian<\/b> on the <\/span>acquisition of a 19.75% stake in Heathrow Airport<\/b> and on the <\/span>sale of Monbake to CVC<\/b>. Additionally, the firm participated in the <\/span>acquisition of Synopsys by Clearlake Capital Group ($2.1 billion)<\/b>, the <\/span>sale of Globalvia\u2019s stake in It\u00ednere to APG<\/b>, and the <\/span>acquisition of Palacios by JB Capital<\/b>, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, <\/span>Mergermarket\u2019s league tables<\/b> highlight the firm\u2019s leadership in its key regions: in <\/span>Spain<\/b>, LLYC <\/span>leads the ranking by transaction value<\/b>, with <\/span>47 transactions totaling $23.464 billion<\/b>; in <\/span>Europe<\/b>, it is in the <\/span>TOP 10 by transaction value<\/b>, with <\/span>73 transactions totaling $52.934 billion<\/b>; and in <\/span>the Americas<\/b>, it ranks <\/span>7th by volume<\/b>, having advised on <\/span>102 transactions totaling $8.567 billion<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
