{"id":466186,"date":"2026-06-03T18:16:37","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T16:16:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/llyc.global\/?p=466186"},"modified":"2026-06-03T18:38:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T16:38:39","slug":"presenting-the-creative-proposal-for-sitges-2026-where-pop-horror-defines-the-visual-language","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/llyc.global\/en\/marketing\/tendencias\/presenting-the-creative-proposal-for-sitges-2026-where-pop-horror-defines-the-visual-language\/","title":{"rendered":"Presenting the creative proposal for Sitges 2026, where pop horror defines the visual language"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <b><i>Fantastic Pavilion<\/i><\/b><b> of the March\u00e9 du Film at the Cannes Film Festival<\/b> has been the setting for a very special moment for us: the <b>official presentation of the poster for the 59th edition of the Sitges Festival<\/b>, developed <b>once again by our creative team<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00c1ngel Sala and M\u00f2nica Garc\u00eda i Massagu\u00e9<\/b> have unveiled a piece that pays tribute to the <b>50th anniversary of <\/b><b><i>Carrie<\/i><\/b>, the masterpiece by <b>Brian De Palma based on the novel by Stephen King.<\/b> <\/p>\n<p><b>Behind the idea: Horror through a &#8220;precious&#8221; prism<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The conceptual axis of this edition revolves around the <b>50th anniversary of <\/b><b><i>Carrie<\/i><\/b>, the paradigmatic film by<b> Brian De Palma<\/b> that defined teenage horror, bullying, and psychic powers in the seventies and eighties.<\/p>\n<p>Breaking away from visual clich\u00e9s and the purely visceral impact usually associated with the genre, our creative proposal, <b>materialized through the lens of Anne Roig<\/b>, shows a teenage figure <b>covered in red glitter strips<\/b>. The design transforms the film&#8217;s iconic and bloody climax into a <b>nod full of shine, glamour, and the naivety of those legendary <\/b><b><i>prom nights<\/i><\/b>. This counterposition between the pure and the disturbing elevates the proposal toward a contemporary, sophisticated, and collectible aesthetic field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A design aligned with the festival&#8217;s narrative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The value of cultural marketing lies in its ability to connect visual language with profound debates.
