In her first Address to the Nation, the president presented an agenda focused on <b>security, investment, employment, infrastructure, state reform, and social protection<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Branch will need to implement these measures in a Congress with divided power. The opposition controls the Chamber of Deputies with <b>74 votes compared to 56 for the ruling party<\/b>, while the Senate is divided into two blocks of <b>30 seats<\/b> and is presided over by Fuerza Popular. This composition will force the Government to build consensus to move forward with its main initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>For the private sector, it will be key to monitor the <b>Government&#8217;s execution capacity, the fiscal sustainability of the announcements, and the evolution of the legislative agenda<\/b>.
