Neste sentido, o auge da China como pot\u00eancia provocou que a Uni\u00e3o Europeia tenha diminu\u00eddo, em certo modo, a intensidade de sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com a regi\u00e3o latino-americana.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, em um momento no qual o eixo econ\u00f4mico mundial parece estar se transferindo do Oceano Atl\u00e2ntico para o Pac\u00edfico, a Am\u00e9rica Latina deixa de ser perif\u00e9rica para ocupar um lugar central.<\/p>\n<p>Por tudo isso, as rela\u00e7\u00f5es existentes entre a Europa e a Am\u00e9rica Latina continuam brindando oportunidades para estreitar la\u00e7os s\u00f3lidos e aproveitar as sinergias estabelecidas.
