Na LLYC estamos convencidos de que a visibilidade do talento feminino \u00e9 um acelerador da igualdade porque normaliza a presen\u00e7a das mulheres em todos os setores e disciplinas, fornece refer\u00eancias para as novas gera\u00e7\u00f5es, promove diversos modelos de sucesso e lideran\u00e7a e, n\u00e3o menos importante, promove a carreira profissional das mulheres<\/strong>. Em 2019 publicamos o relat\u00f3rio \u201cContar y contarlo\u201d<\/a>, em que compilamos e contrastamos estudos que apontam nessa mesma dire\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Mas decidir cruzar esse limite e ser mais vis\u00edvel n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma tarefa t\u00e3o f\u00e1cil quanto parece. A lacuna de \u201cautopromo\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, ou seja, a diferen\u00e7a de esfor\u00e7os que as mulheres dedicam em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos homens para valorizar suas conquistas, se tornarem conhecidas no mercado e gerar visibilidade de seu perfil profissional \u00e9 de at\u00e9 33% , segundo <\/strong>estudos publicados na Harvard Business Review<\/strong>. <\/a>\u00a0Esta pesquisa aponta algumas poss\u00edveis raz\u00f5es, como a menor confian\u00e7a das mulheres em suas habilidades profissionais ou uma maior convic\u00e7\u00e3o por parte dos homens da rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre essas estrat\u00e9gias de autopromo\u00e7\u00e3o e incentivos econ\u00f4micos.<\/p>\n

Um dos fatores que podem ter mais influ\u00eancia \u00e9 o \u201cdouble-bind bias\u201d <\/a>(vi\u00e9s de liga\u00e7\u00e3o dupla)<\/strong>. Consiste em que, para as mulheres, essas a\u00e7\u00f5es de visibilidade e marketing geram o efeito contr\u00e1rio ao desejado. Assim, eles s\u00e3o ou temem ser penalizadas se forem promovidas, embora essa menor presen\u00e7a tamb\u00e9m tenha consequ\u00eancias negativas para suas carreiras. Ao contr\u00e1rio, eles, pelos mesmos comportamentos e atributos, s\u00e3o aplaudidos e n\u00e3o sofrem qualquer puni\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Outra barreira pode ser a dedica\u00e7\u00e3o ainda maior das mulheres \u00e0 fam\u00edlia e ao cuidado. De acordo com a OIT<\/a>, no mundo, as mulheres gastam 4,4 horas por dia em cuidados n\u00e3o remunerados, enquanto os homens gastam 1,4 horas<\/strong>. Como as atividades de promo\u00e7\u00e3o e visibilidade s\u00e3o consideradas adicionais – e n\u00e3o inerentes – \u00e0s fun\u00e7\u00f5es laborais, muitas vezes s\u00e3o realizadas fora do hor\u00e1rio de trabalho, dificultando a j\u00e1 complexa concilia\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, relat\u00f3rios de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais como a Anistia Internacional<\/a> alertam sobre a viol\u00eancia existente contra a mulher nas redes sociais, um claro desmotivador para uma maior participa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Nenhum desses elementos parece, com base no que foi publicado at\u00e9 agora, ser a \u00fanica causa ou justificar plenamente a menor visibilidade das mulheres<\/strong>. Nos perguntamos se, analisando a conversa digital, poder\u00edamos ajudar a entender essa combina\u00e7\u00e3o de motivos e, com um diagn\u00f3stico mais claro, quais estrat\u00e9gias poderiam ser mais eficazes em geral ou especificamente nos pa\u00edses onde atuamos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
