Quem j\u00e1 ouviu falar do \u201cDesafio do Balde de Gelo\u201d ou \u201cIce Bucket Challenge\u201d certamente vai lembrar como algumas celebridades viralizaram nas redes ao se molharem com um balde de \u00e1gua gelada, com a inten\u00e7\u00e3o de conscientizar e arrecadar fundos para a luta contra a esclerose lateral amiotr\u00f3fica (ELA). Esta iniciativa alcan\u00e7ou a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 17 milh\u00f5es de pessoas e doa\u00e7\u00f5es em todo o mundo e somente nos EUA foram arrecadados mais de 115 milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares. Redes sociais permitem a capacidade de se conectar com milh\u00f5es de pessoas para destacar projetos que podem influenciar o comportamento de diferentes p\u00fablicos, incluindo os mais jovens.<\/p>\n

As doen\u00e7as n\u00e3o transmiss\u00edveis impactam a qualidade de vida de milh\u00f5es de pessoas e geram altos custos para os sistemas de sa\u00fade.<\/strong> Apesar das pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas e campanhas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o terem sido amplamente discutidas e elaboradas para tentar conter o impacto dessas doen\u00e7as, a epidemia continua crescendo. \u00c9 urgente avaliar novas alternativas, novos canais e vincular especialistas, sociedade civil e empresas nessa luta.<\/p>\n

Para este relat\u00f3rio, foram analisadas pol\u00edticas e programas de a\u00e7\u00e3o (pesquisa documental), percep\u00e7\u00f5es e opini\u00f5es (entrevistas com especialistas) no cuidado de doen\u00e7as como diabetes, doen\u00e7as cardiovasculares, doen\u00e7as respirat\u00f3rias e c\u00e2ncer, chamada pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Pan-Americana da Sa\u00fade (OPAS)<\/strong> como a grande epidemia do nosso tempo. Foi analisado se os planos e projetos s\u00e3o suficientes para conter o impacto negativo na qualidade de vida de quem sofre com essas doen\u00e7as, e se isso ajudar\u00e1 a reduzir o alto custo para os sistemas de sa\u00fade.<\/strong><\/p>\n

N\u00f3s nos concentramos em entender o impacto de fatores modific\u00e1veis e como levar as pessoas a agir para melhorar sua qualidade de vida. Al\u00e9m disso, revisamos as taxas de mortalidade, o investimento em sa\u00fade e o custo que essas doen\u00e7as representam para os sistemas de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n

Com o objetivo de explorar alternativas para alcan\u00e7ar uma estrat\u00e9gia ideal que motive mudan\u00e7as de h\u00e1bitos e complemente planos e programas governamentais, consultamos 38 especialistas<\/strong> em sa\u00fade p\u00fablica, m\u00e9dicos, representantes de empresas e grupos de pacientes em 7 pa\u00edses da Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/strong> Este relat\u00f3rio resume as principais descobertas e recomenda a\u00e7\u00f5es na perspectiva da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, dos assuntos p\u00fablicos e do marketing digital<\/strong> para acabar com essa epidemia, alcan\u00e7ar uma sociedade mais saud\u00e1vel e reduzir o peso dessas doen\u00e7as para os sistemas de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
