A pesquisa para o tratamento do c\u00e2ncer e o desenvolvimento de tratamentos inovadores est\u00e3o em seu melhor momento. Isso foi confirmado durante o recente encontro da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Americana de Oncologia (ASCO, American Association of Oncology), que reuniu um grande n\u00famero de profissionais e pacientes da hist\u00f3ria da entidade, e onde foram apresentados os avan\u00e7os em estudos cl\u00ednicos, novos tratamentos e terapias combinadas. Al\u00e9m de discuss\u00f5es com especialistas de todo o mundo que est\u00e3o revolucionando a forma como o c\u00e2ncer \u00e9 tratado. Sem d\u00favida, a ASCO foi um grande momento para a oncologia e, principalmente, para a comunidade m\u00e9dica e para os pacientes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Entre esses avan\u00e7os, a medicina personalizada \u00e9 um dos mais importantes, e \u00e9 um exemplo de como a comunidade m\u00e9dica e cient\u00edfica e a ind\u00fastria farmac\u00eautica t\u00eam prosperado na concep\u00e7\u00e3o de tratamentos espec\u00edficos para cada paciente. Entre eles est\u00e1 o sequenciamento de tratamentos: combinar os mais padronizados, como a quimioterapia e a radioterapia, com os novos, como a imunoterapia (que tem grande evid\u00eancia cient\u00edfica), e agregar os inovadores, como as terapias g\u00eanicas e celulares, para obter melhores resultados.<\/span><\/p>\n
