O gap de <\/em>\u201cautopromo\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, ou seja, a diferen\u00e7a de esfor\u00e7os que as mulheres dedicam em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos homens para destacar as suas conquistas, dar-se a conhecer no mercado e gerar visibilidade para o seu perfil profissional, \u00e9 de at\u00e9 33%, de acordo com <\/strong>estudos publicados na Harvard Business Review<\/strong>.<\/a> Esta investiga\u00e7\u00e3o aponta para algumas raz\u00f5es poss\u00edveis, tais como a menor confian\u00e7a das mulheres nas suas capacidades profissionais ou a maior confian\u00e7a dos homens na liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre estas estrat\u00e9gias de autopromo\u00e7\u00e3o e os incentivos econ\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n Um dos fatores que pode ter maior influ\u00eancia \u00e9 o \u201cdouble-bind bias\u201d<\/a> (desvio de duplo v\u00ednculo ou la\u00e7o)<\/strong>. Para as mulheres, estas a\u00e7\u00f5es de visibilidade e marketing geram o efeito contr\u00e1rio ao desejado. Assim, elas s\u00e3o ou temem ser penalizadas se se promoverem a si pr\u00f3prias, mesmo que esta presen\u00e7a reduzida tenha tamb\u00e9m consequ\u00eancias negativas para as suas carreiras.
