As crises de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o hoje um risco que \u00e9 essencial considerar em qualquer plano de conting\u00eancia no mundo corporativo. O medo de sofrer uma crise de reputa\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 cada vez mais presente em todas as empresas, o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 um mero pormenor.<\/p>\n
O estudo Global Risk Landscape 2020, realizado pela empresa de auditoria BDO, revelou que 70\u00a0% das empresas no mundo<\/a> sofreram algum incidente que p\u00f4s em risco a respetiva reputa\u00e7\u00e3o, pelo que se pode dizer que as crises de reputa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o fundamentalmente inerentes \u00e0 exist\u00eancia de uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n Para compreender o impacto de uma crise na reputa\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio olhar para os diferentes elementos que a comp\u00f5em.<\/p>\n A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Espanhola para a Qualidade (AEC<\/a>) define a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma empresa como \u00aba impress\u00e3o provocada pela perce\u00e7\u00e3o da gest\u00e3o da empresa nos grupos de interesse, condicionando, deste modo, as atitudes destes em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 empresa\u00bb. Noutras defini\u00e7\u00f5es, a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 \u00abo conhecimento das verdadeiras caracter\u00edsticas de uma empresa e das emo\u00e7\u00f5es sentidas relativamente a esta pelos stakeholders<\/em> ou pelos grupos de interesse da empresa\u00bb (Ferguson<\/a> et al., 2000). Mas a reputa\u00e7\u00e3o tanto das empresas quanto dos indiv\u00edduos n\u00e3o se limita \u00e0 mera impress\u00e3o que geram no meio em que se inserem; constitui tamb\u00e9m um valor intang\u00edvel com efeitos que poder\u00e3o ser diretamente transferidos para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de valor, a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de lucros empresariais, a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de custos, o acesso ao mercado de capitais, a maior facilidade de atrair talento, a maior flexibilidade para diversificar ou a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de barreiras \u00e0 entrada para a concorr\u00eancia, para dar apenas alguns
