Gonzalo Carranza

Partner and General Manager – Ecuador. He leads the client and commercial strategy of our Quito operation.

Experience.

He has more than 15 years of experience in communications. He was a journalist and editor in the main economic and business media in Peru. He was also Press Manager of BCP and Editorial Manager of Grupo Planeta. In 2018 he joined LLYC in the city of Lima as Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Consumer Engagement. In 2020 he was promoted to Managing Director of LLYC in Peru and in 2021 he was named partner of the firm. He assumed the general management of the company in Ecuador in January 2024.

Interests.

He loves reading and consuming all kinds of content. He also enjoys watching different sports; soccer, American soccer and F1 are his favorite disciplines. He is a cocktail aficionado and writes a column about it in ‘Gestión’, Peru’s leading business newspaper.
