Carme Artigas, co-chair of the High Level Advisory Body on AI of Nations and Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center of the Harvard Kennedy School, returns to the Advisory Board of LLYC in Spain, chaired by Antonio Fournier. From this position he will help the firm to focus on the knowledge of new technologies and their treatment. He will bring his consolidated experience and vision in digitization and AI, as well as a brilliant track record in the field of innovation, technology, big data and entrepreneurship.
Artigas was already part of LLYC’s Advisory Board, a position she resigned from in 2020 after being appointed Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence of the Government of Spain. A graduate in Chemical Sciences, with a degree in executive management in venture capital and a postgraduate degree in industrial business management, Artigas is one of the world’s leading experts in artificial intelligence, big data and technological innovation. She co-founded Synergic Partners, a company specializing in advanced data analytics, which Telefónica bought in 2015. With more than 25 years of professional career, she also worked at Ericsson where she managed its investment vehicle in technology startups, and was in charge of the Barcelona Activa business incubator.
Last year Artigas was elected by the United Nations to co-chair its Advisory Council to address the global governance of Artificial Intelligence. She is also the first Spaniard to join the Belfer Center for Science at the Harvard Kennedy School as a Senior Fellow.
“Innovation and technology are redefining the rules of the business game at an unprecedented speed. It is an honor to return to LLYC’s Advisory Board at this crucial time and to be able to contribute to helping its clients successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities posed by artificial intelligence and digitization,” assures Carme Artigas.
For Antonio Fournier, Chairman of LLYC’s Advisory Board in Spain: “Having Carme back is great news, both for LLYC and for our clients. In the current moment of technological disruption, it is essential to have her vision, knowledge and experience. It will allow us to anticipate the challenges ahead of us.”
LLYC’s Advisory Board is composed of professionals with a brilliant track record in their areas of expertise. The purpose of this network of high-level advisors is to advise the firm’s management team in identifying trends and potential changes in the scenario with an impact on clients’ results.
This year LLYC has already incorporated five prestigious professionals to its Advisory Board in Spain: former ministers Ramón Jáuregui and Íñigo de la Serna, businesswoman Helena Antolín, marketing expert Enrique Arribas and Carmen López Suevos, a specialist in business strategy and digital transformation.
These additions allow the Marketing and Corporate Affairs consultancy firm to acquire greater expertise in the business and the different industries in which they are leaders. Their advice allows adding more value to the services offered by the firm to its clients.
