LLYC strengthens its commitment to the Healthcare Europa department with the incorporation of Emilio de Benito as Senior Advisor specialized in healthcare. He will contribute his vision and extensive experience in the healthcare sector and in health information to offer clients strategic solutions in a leading and essential field in mid-transformation.
Emilio de Benito has more than 20 years of experience as a news writer at El País, where he was in charge of health and science information at the daily paper. He has also collaborated with other media outlets like Cadena SER, La Sexta and magazines like Shangay and Zero. He has been President of the National Association of Health Reporters (ANIS) and lectured in social and health journalism at the Complutense, Carlos III and Rey Juan Carlos Universities in Madrid, Valladolid University and Murcia University and in Medellín (Colombia). He has written the novel “Diario de Juan”. Emilio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the El País School/Autonomous University of Madrid.
