Ana Margarida Ximenes

With over 25 years of experience in the communications field, Ana leads the Corporate Affairs strategy at LLYC Portugal with a comprehensive approach that spans institutional relations, reputation management, corporate communications, and innovation projects across various sectors. Her career blends deep consulting expertise, leadership in professional associations, and a strategic vision focused on advancing the Corporate Affairs practice.

Experience.

Before joining LLYC, Ana served as Country Chapter Lead for the European Association of Communication Directors (EACD) and as General Director of the Portuguese Safety Association (Associação Portuguesa de Segurança). She was also co-founder and President of ATREVIA Portugal and later a partner at Lift Consulting. Ana began her career in journalism, working in print, radio, and television. She has led public communication campaigns at the European level and collaborated with institutions, NGOs, and government agencies. She holds a degree in Social Communication from the University of Minho and completed the Executive Business Management Program (PDE) at AESE Business School.

Interests.

A passionate fan of cinema, sports, and reading, Ana finds in these activities a healthy balance between her professional and personal life. She speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and is an active member of international communications associations. Throughout her career, she has served on several international awards juries and has been recognized for her leadership and impact on the profession.
