José Manuel González-Páramo

José Manuel González-Páramo is currently Chair of Data Warehouse, the European leader in the asset securitization segment. He also serves as a visiting professor at IESE Business School, where his research focuses on the financial crisis and the reform of the euro’s institutional foundations. He was a member of the Executive Board and Governing Council of the European Central Bank, and also served on the Governing Council and Executive Commission of the Bank of Spain. From 2013 to 2020, he was an executive board member at BBVA and has also been an independent director at Abanca. He was Professor of Economics and Head of the Department of Public Finance at the Complutense University of Madrid, and has conducted research and consultancy work for the World Bank and the European Commission.
