Pedro Méndez de Vigo y Montojo
Member of the European Advisory Board
Retired General of the Spanish Army, specialized in Cavalry and a graduate of the General Staff College in both Spain and Germany. He has held key positions within the Ministry of Defense, including Chief of Staff to three Secretaries of State and Deputy Director General for International Relations. He has led units such as the “Pavía” Regiment and the Attack Helicopter Battalion, and has taken part in international missions with the UN, EU, and NATO in El Salvador, Bosnia, and Somalia. Pedro holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Ortega y Gasset Institute and was a Senior Associate Member at the University of Oxford. He currently serves on LLYC’s Advisory Board and teaches at CEU San Pablo University and Universidad Carlos III.
