Ignacio Márquez, new Senior Creative Director of LLYC in the Northern Region

BESO by LLYC, a company acquired by LLYC in September 2021, has a new Senior Creative Director. José Ignacio Márquez Hill, formerly Creative Grouper at BESO by LLYC, will take on the role of creative leader for LLYC’s entire Northern region, which includes the operations in Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic. From this new position, Ignacio will lead a team of over 60 professionals from BESO by LLYC and LLYC, guiding strategies for clients and projects with a clear focus on Creativity.

Some of the primary functions of his new position include: generating proposals and creative ideas stemming from the understanding and knowledge of each brand and its respective objectives; implementation of innovative practices; team management; art, copywriting and design division; coordination of participation in the different creative events of the industry; etc.

Ignacio is a professional with a degree in Cultural Communication from the University of San Andrés (Argentina). His 11-year career began in 2011 working with Olabuenaga Chemistri and Leo Burnett. In 2015, he joined Beker/Socialand to create a new digital creative team and subsequently became Full Creative Director and then Creative Grouper.

His extensive list of clients include: Microsoft, Soriana, LALA, Suburbia, Liverpool, SKY, Tec de Monterrey, Honda, La Moderna, LEGO, Doters and Fundación Televisa. His trophy case includes awards such as: Ojo de Iberoamérica, IAB, Effies, Círculo Creativo and FePI.

Ignacio Márquez comments: “I am excited about this new challenge ahead of us. We have to define the kind of ideas we want and the working model to bring them out, and that’s going to be a lot of fun.”
