LLYC joins global partnership of Finsbury, Hering Schuppener and GPG as associate partner

LLYC will join the global partnership of Finsbury, Hering Schuppener and Glover Park Group (GPG) as associate partner from 1 July 2019. The addition of LLYC as an associate partner enhances the successful partnership that Finsbury and Hering Schuppener launched in April 2016 and that GPG joined in May 2017.

The global partnership will give clients of LLYC access to a network of more than 500 experienced communications professionals around the globe across 16 offices, including New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Brussels, Berlin, Hong Kong and Beijing. In turn, the global partnership’s clients will gain access to an unrivalled communications offering in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, including offices in key markets like Madrid, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, Mexico City and Santiago.

LLYC was founded in 1995 by Jose Antonio Llorente and Olga Cuenca following careers at Burson Marsteller Spain. Since its inception, the firm has grown rapidly and cemented its position as the leading independent communications consulting firm in Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. Today, LLYC has more than 600 strategic communications professionals who are expert in a broad range of services, including financial communications, crisis and issues management, media and investor relations, corporate positioning as well as public affairs.

“I am thrilled that LLYC is joining this global partnership as it means giving our clients access to the best communication players in the world’s financial centres and political capitals,” said Jose Antonio Llorente, founding Partner and President of LLYC. “This partnership advances our strategy of combining a local focus with global reach, working with talented communications advisors all over the world.”

LLYC is the ideal match for our global partnership, as it complements both our offering in Europe and in the Americas”, said Alexander Geiser, Managing Partner of Hering Schuppener and member of the Global Board of the partnership. “We look back on nearly two decades of cooperating with LLYC and their unrivalled offering in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets. We look forward to opening that potential to our multinational clients and to serve LLYC’s clients around the world.”

LLYC is the third associate partner to join the global partnership, following the additions of French market leader Image Sept and Fogel & Partners in the Nordic region in 2018.

LLYC was a member of the AMO Network until May 2019. The associate partnership has operational and commercial objectives, and it has no impact on the ownership or leadership structures of LLYC. LLYC will continue to be owned by its partners and operate under its own brand name and identity.
