The conversation about equality has been hijacked

Extremes have taken over the debate, turning what should be a constructive dialogue into a digital battleground. Productive discussion is lost amid insults, personal attacks, and ideological clashes.

That’s why we explore the growing polarization around both the feminist and antifeminist movements, analyzing their causes and key factors—such as the

degree of radicalization in each camp and the social and political triggers behind this surge in global tension.

Using Deep Learning and Data Analytics, our experts analyzed conversations on X across 12 countries in Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. This study examined 8.5 million messages from both communities.

The conclusion is clear: the feminist and antifeminist camps are growing increasingly distant.

NO FILTER was created with one goal: to analyze the state of the digital conversation on gender equality and promote a more moderate, inclusive debate. When we remove the noise, equality stops being a distorted message and becomes a clear, transformative voice.

What could be an open, constructive dialogue has turned into a battlefield.

Insults and fallacies have taken center stage. Extremes have seized the debate, filling the void left by those who refuse to have their ideas vandalized by polarization—and instead choose to abandon it.

To keep moving forward and build more diverse, fair societies, we need to reclaim a filter—the filter of equality—and foster a calm conversation where everyone can freely express their viewpoints, share their experiences, and propose new ideas.

LLYC introduces: NO FILTER.

The vandalized conversation requires the equality filter.

A filter that doesn’t erase dialogue but rescues it, cutting through the noise and conflict to find common ground.

98% of the conversation about equality on social media is radicalized.

50% of messages on X about feminism are negative.

Social media has become a means of aggression.

The feminist and antifeminist camps are growing increasingly distant.

At LLYC, we believe in diversity and are firmly committed to closing the gender gap. For six years, we have published reports analyzing the global conversation and the evolution of this movement from multiple perspectives.
