Alejandro Romero has been Global CEO since 2022. He is responsible for leading the company’s strategic plan and driving business objectives in Europe, the United States and Latin America. He also plays a key role in LLYC’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and inorganic growth strategies, and leads 15 of our firm’s most important clients.
 
As Global CEO, Alejandro Romero has led LLYC’s transformation, driving its financial growth and innovation agenda, and positioning the company as a global leader in integrated communications, corporate affairs and marketing. Under his leadership, the company has invested more than €30 million in strategic acquisitions in the United States, Colombia and Spain, strengthening its global presence and expanding its service portfolio. The firm has multiplied its revenue by 2.6 since 2020 and now has more than 1,300 professionals.
 
Alejandro Romero has guided LLYC through a period of transformation marked by integration, innovation and sustainable growth. His leadership is distinguished by a clear strategic vision and a strong customer focus, as well as direct involvement in key plans and global accelerators in sectors such as healthcare and mining. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his ability to tackle challenges and generate measurable results for clients and stakeholders.

Experience.

With 30 years of experience in communications and marketing, Alejandro Romero has held management positions in Latin America and the United States and has led the opening of our operations in Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and the US. He is an expert in financial communications, crisis communications, marketing and corporate communications and is recognized as one of the leading specialists in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Latin America. He has been a member of LLYC’s Board of Directors since 2011.

Interests.

Alejandro has always been committed to the training and development of new professionals, collaborating with the University of Lima in Peru, the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico, UM in Miami and the Complutense University in Madrid as a professor and collaborator in their master’s degree programs in communications.
