Alba Garcia named Senior Director of Crisis, Risks and Legal Issues at LLYC Madrid

Alba García has been promoted to Senior Director at LLYC Madrid, where she leads the Crisis, Risk and Legal Issues area. An expert in strategic communication during legal proceedings and reputation management, she has worked for the last 12 years at the firm, where she has developed a multitude of corporate crisis communication projects with a strong legal component. In this area, the campaign developed for the reputational crisis of the Vitaldent litigation received a Stevie Award in 2017.

Alba García heads a team of 10 people who work with clients in complex and demanding situations. In recent years she has also played an important role as an expert witness in legal proceedings that require an expert assessment and quantification of reputational damage. She also collaborates as a university professor teaching the program “Reputation Management during Legal Issues” in the Master’s Degree in Corporate and Advertising Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Advertising Communication, both from the Complutense University of Madrid.

The Crisis, Risk and Legal Issues area at LLYC is responsible for anticipating, monitoring and reacting to risks that threaten the reputation and social license of businesses to operate. It also aims to identify latent and emerging dangers, minimize the vulnerability of companies in a hyper-connected world, monitor the performance of these risks and act in case any of them are activated.
