LLYC strengthens its position in Catalonia with the appointment of Enric Hernández as Senior Advisor at its Barcelona office. With a career spanning more than 30 years in media, digital innovation, and institutional relations, Enric joins the LLYC team to contribute his expert knowledge in strategic consulting, institutional relationship management, and business development.

Enric is a respected figure in the fields of communication and journalism. He has led major editorial and institutional projects at media outlets such as El Periódico de Catalunya, RTVE, and PRISA Media. Over the course of his career, he has overseen major editorial and digital transformations, including the creation of RTVE Play, the modernization of TVE news programming, and the launch of El País Exprés.

His experience in institutional relations and in coordinating high-profile events (such as World in Progress Barcelona and the EL PAÍS and SER forums) gives him a unique strategic vision of the media, business, and political ecosystem.

“Enric’s addition will bring us great value, starting with a strategic vision of the media, corporate, and political landscape. Without a doubt, his knowledge of the institutional and business ecosystem—especially in Catalonia—strengthens our capabilities in this key market,” says María Cura, Partner and General Manager of LLYC in Barcelona.

According to Enric Hernández: “The economic and institutional revitalization Catalonia is currently undergoing represents a great opportunity for a leading company like LLYC—one uniquely capable of adapting to the ever-changing demands of the market and its clients. The constant evolution and transformation of the product has been, in fact, my main mission while leading media companies in both Barcelona and Madrid. That’s why I’m grateful for the opportunity to put my experience and commitment at the service of María and the outstanding professional team she has built in Barcelona, to continue driving LLYC’s expansion in Catalonia.”
