As Executive President of LLYC Barcelona and Partner of the company, María’s mission is to reinforce strategic leadership in an environment that has gained significant scale and relevance. Her role centers on ensuring business continuity and supporting the office’s strategic growth, overseeing major accounts, and leading a team focused on delivering high-value solutions.
Experience.
She joined the company as Managing Director of the Barcelona office—a position she held from 2010 to early 2026—and was named Partner just two years after her arrival. Under her leadership, the office became one of the three most important within LLYC’s international network. Holding a Law degree from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), she practiced law before becoming Corporate Marketing and Communication Director at USP Hospitales and Director at Gené & Asociados. Additionally, she has taught at UB, UPF, and UIC, and served for two years as President of the LLYC Foundation (now Fundación José Antonio Llorente).
Interests.
María is deeply connected to the business community; she is the Vice President of Change 2 Growth, a member of the 22@ advisory board, and a member of Dircom and the Cercle d’Economia. On a personal level, she is a passionate cinephile who loves movies. Books are her haven and inspiration, classical music is her space for connection, and she enjoys walking in the woods and swimming in the sea as her favorite ways to find calm.
