Pepe Beker, Partner and CEO of Marketing Solutions at LLYC Mexico, has been awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by the Círculo Creativo de México, an organization dedicated to promoting creative excellence in advertising and design. This award is especially significant for Pepe and the firm, as it represents recognition for his contribution to the industry and confirms his influence and leadership in the creative field.
“Being recognized for my career by the Círculo Creativo de México, in addition to being an honor and a privilege, reaffirms to me that this is a business of ideas and no matter how much models and trends evolve, creativity will always be the factor that makes a consumer turn to look at you,” says Pepe.
Additionally, we have been recognized with two bronze awards in the categories of ‘Best Product Launch’ and ‘Products, Services, and NGOs’, for the project ‘La Sopa que Enseña’, a project for La Moderna.
About the campaign:
‘La Sopa Que Enseña’ is an extension of ‘La Sopa de Señas’, a project carried out for La Moderna. It took place on June 10, 2023, the National Day of Mexican Sign Language, aiming to raise awareness about hearing impairment in Mexico through an educational experience based on a reinvention of the Word Search: The Sign Soup translator.
To achieve this, a website was created where anyone could learn about Mexican Sign Language and the manual alphabet, using this sign translator. This tool not only provides the opportunity to acquire knowledge about sign language but also invites all Mexicans to reflect on the importance of knowing at least some basic sign language words, promoting inclusion and facilitating communication and mutual understanding among all.
For LLYC, being awarded in this competition highlights the ongoing efforts made by the teams, reaffirming our positioning as a leader in the commitment to transformative creativity and in projects that best represent our clients.
