This report analyzes the various institutional changes that will take place during the coming months at European level. A period begins in which several “seats are at stake”, with a “backstage” where all European political families are discussing the future institutional balance. And within each family, who does who, how and in exchange for what. Posts which attract greater visibility, such as the Presidency of the European Commission or the Presidency of the European Council, as well as Presidencies, Vice-Presidencies or positions to coordinate the Parliamentary Commissions will capture the attention of the media during the next months. However, the internal organization of each party is quite important, as the share of power each party has, based on the quantity of votes obtained, must be divided between all the national parties that form the European political group.
