The European Union’s regulatory and investment activity has a growing impact on business strategy. Practically all decisions affecting any productive sector have been discussed before in the European Parliament or the Commission. Being aware of these debates and participating in them is as relevant today at the European level as it is at the national level. In this context, to continue supporting the development of our clients, LLYC expands its Public Affairs services with a new unit specialized in the European field; European Affairs.
Under the leadership of Paloma Baena Olabe, the European Affairs team specializes in the institutional and legislative context of the European Union and its links with national and global public policies through analysis and political intelligence services, regulatory monitoring and corporate positioning in the field of EU institutions. European Affairs, also counts with the experience of Pablo García-Berdoy, Permanent Representative of Spain to the European Union (REPER) during the last 5 years, as Principal Advisor of the new department.
European Affairs will have specialized teams in Madrid, Lisbon and Brussels, incorporates all the experience of the specialized Next Generation unit of LLYC, and has an important collaboration agreement with FGS Global, an international firm with operations in several European markets, including Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom and France.
Our objective is to facilitate knowledge, anticipation and influence in the development of European public policy, regulation and investment initiatives, also betting on the integration of the business and social perspective in their development.
