Àngels Chacón, new Managing Director of LLYC Barcelona

LLYC, a global Corporate Affairs and Marketing company, has announced the appointment of Àngels Chacón as the new Managing Director of LLYC Barcelona. She will lead the operation alongside María Cura, Partner at the firm, who from now on will hold the position of Executive Chair in the Catalan market. This move seeks to boost the growth experienced by LLYC in Catalonia, driving the new integrated offering that incorporates technology, data analysis, artificial intelligence, creativity, and digital influence as fundamental pillars.

Chacón joined LLYC Barcelona in 2022 as Director of Corporate Strategy. Her career includes prominent roles in the public sector, such as Minister of Business and Knowledge for the Generalitat de Catalunya and Director General of Industry. With over fifteen years of experience in the private sector as an export manager, she has brought to the company a deep knowledge of the Catalan business and industrial fabric, as well as extensive experience in the field of corporate and public affairs. Àngels holds a degree in Law (UB), a postgraduate degree in talent management in organizations (UB), and specialized in International Trade (CCI).

For her part, María Cura is a Partner at LLYC. A Law graduate, she joined the company in 2009 and for the last 15 years has served as the Managing Director of the Barcelona office. Her management has been key to the success of an operation that is currently one of the firm’s three most significant offices globally. It has more than 80 professionals who serve a portfolio of thirty top-tier clients in key sectors such as technology, energy, infrastructure, fashion, and food, while also being a leader in the healthcare sector and family-owned businesses.
