LLYC garnered four awards at the New York Advertising Awards, arguably one of the world’s premier creative competitions. Specifically, the ‘Bihar, choose the future’ campaign for BBK scooped three awards: gold in the category ‘Avant-Garde/Innovation-Creative Use of Medium’ and two bronzes in ‘Public Relations-Events’ and ‘Environmental/Experiential Design’. While ‘You’re a gamer and you don’t know it’ for Multiópticas was recognized with a bronze award in the category ‘Social Media: Best Use of Influencer’. Both projects were developed by the Consumer Engagement team in Madrid. LLYC was the Spanish firm that received the most awards at the festival.
Julio Alonso Caballero, Executive Creative Director of LLYC, shared his thoughts: “We are very happy that two very different projects that are so locally rooted have been awarded in a festival with so much history. It is certainly a spur to continue engaging in daring, yet purposeful projects with great social impact like the ones that BBK and Multiópticas are supporting”.
The New York Advertising Awards have been recognizing the most creative projects in the industry since 1957. Works are screened by a jury of 400 industry peers who select the best advertising in the world. This year’s event logged participating firms hailing from over 60 countries.
This year alone, LLYC’s creative team has racked up over 20 awards in major national and international competitions, including the Cannes Lions, El Sol, The One Show and the CdeC.
