Energy 2050. The required changes to the energy model

The recent Paris Agreement reached in the XXI Conference of Parties (cop21) of the Framework Convention of the United Nations on Climate Change has set new targets for the horizon 2100. The agreement aims to limit the overall increase in temperature below 2 ° C by 2100, leaving the door open to the target of 1.5 ° C.

This objective imposes a number of challenges of economic and political nature to which the States must face in the short term, such as decarbonization of energy policy. In this report elaborated with Alberto Carbajo Josa the reforms and changes that should be implemented to achieve the objectives are analyzed.
