Carolina Zarco, LLYC’s new Corporate Affairs lead for Latam Northern Region

LLYC, the global communications, marketing, and public affairs consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Carolina Zarco as Corporate Affairs lead for Latam Northern Region, which encompasses Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. In her new role, Zarco will further strengthen the company’s offerings in corporate communications, financial communications, public affairs, sustainability and ESG, crisis and risk, and talent engagement.

Zarco has 20 years of experience in strategic communications, reputation, and crisis management. She will be based in Mexico City and will work alongside Maria Esteve, Partner and Managing Director of Corporate Affairs for Latin America, as well as David Gonzalez Natal, Partner and Managing Director of Latam Northern Region.

Carolina Zarco has managed local and international agencies’ corporate and financial communications areas, heading multidisciplinary teams. She has extensive experience in positioning and bolstering the reputation of leading national and global companies. 

She holds a degree in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master’s degree in International Communication and Development from the City, University of London. In 2020, she was selected as part of the Santander W50: The Next Generation of Leading Women international leadership scholarship program by The London School of Economics and Political Science and Banco Santander.
