José Manuel Casillas joins LLYC as Senior Director of the Global IT Department. In this position as CIO (Chief Information Officer), he will be in charge of defining and developing the firm’s technological strategy, managing relations with ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) suppliers and supervising cybersecurity, adopting the measures necessary to reduce the firm’s risks.
He replaces Daniel Fernández Trejo in this position, who, after five years running the department, will henceforth focus on the global management of the Deep Learning Department, heading up all the lines of artificial intelligence services and solutions.
José Manuel Casillas has more than 20 years of experience in the field of technology, heading up IT teams. He has been CIO at such professional services companies as CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo and Herbert Smith Freehills. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Information and Technology Systems Management, and in the Management of Quality Systems.
