LLYC Mexico was recognised with the Distinction of Company Committed to the Labour Inclusion of People with Disabilities awarded by Éntrale, the Mexican Business Council, the Business Coordinating Council and the Mexico Coalition for the Rights of People with Disabilities. During the award ceremony, Mariana López and Alicia Hut, representatives of the Northern Region Diversity Committee, were honoured to receive this recognition.

The Distinction rewards those organizations that have demonstrated excellence in the 2023 Workplace Inclusion Index for People with Disabilities (IILPCD), which measures corporate inclusion initiatives in the following categories: Recruitment and Retention of People with Disabilities, Policy and Development, Leadership and Communication, and Accessibility, Accommodations and Safety.

This achievement is a testament to the continued commitment of the entire LLYC Mexico team to creating a diverse and welcoming work environment. From the implementation of inclusive policies to the promotion of a culture of respect and appreciation of diversity. In this regard, David González Natal said “this distinction is a recognition of the work that all the members of the Norte diversity committee have been doing to achieve increasingly inclusive and egalitarian operations. Promoting all dimensions of diversity is key not only for all of us to feel safe in our spaces, but also for the business to benefit from a wider range of experiences and points of view”.

By receiving this award, LLYC reaffirms its commitment to continue to be a workplace where every person, regardless of their skills or abilities, feels valued and respected.
